Patients treated include those with respiratory failure, neurological and cardiac conditions, chronic wounds, kidney ailments, cancer, head and neck trauma, mental health disorders, and musculoskeletal issues. This segment also manages nursing facilities, a family health center, a rural health clinic, physician practices, and provides physical therapy services. Finally, the Healthcare Innovations (HCI) segment specializes in delivering strategic health management solutions to accountable care organizations. By December 31, 2021, LHC Group's operational footprint included 557 home health facilities, 170 hospice sites, 136 community-based service centers, 11 long-term acute care hospitals spread across 12 locations, and 14 Healthcare Innovations facilities. Established in 1994, the company's headquarters are situated in Lafayette, Louisiana.
