The Consumer Banking segment focuses on individual clients, providing a suite of deposit accounts like checking, savings, money market, and individual retirement accounts, alongside time deposits and certificates of deposit. It also originates residential mortgage loans and Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, in addition to offering payment solutions and fiduciary services. Beyond these core offerings, CIT Group also provides general leasing and advisory support, along with robust online banking capabilities.
