The company's business is structured into two distinct segments: Grace Catalysts Technologies and Grace Materials Technologies. Grace Catalysts Technologies specializes in developing and supplying fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts and their associated additives, which are essential for producing transportation fuels like gasoline and diesel, as well as petrochemicals. This division also provides hydroprocessing catalysts, designed to convert heavy crude oils into more refined, lighter products. Furthermore, it offers polyolefin and various other chemical catalysts critical for the creation of polypropylene and polyethylene thermoplastic resins, alongside its proprietary gas-phase polypropylene process technology. The Grace Materials Technologies segment focuses on advanced silica and silica-alumina-based materials. These materials find wide-ranging applications in consumer products, pharmaceuticals, protective coatings, and diverse chemical processing industries.
