Its Aviation segment supplies critical fuels and related support to a broad spectrum of clients, including major commercial airlines, regional and low-cost carriers, cargo operators, airports, fixed-base operators, corporate fleets, private aircraft, and various governmental and military entities worldwide. This division also offers extensive services such as fuel and price risk management, ground handling, dispatch support, and comprehensive trip planning, which covers flight scheduling, weather updates, and securing necessary overflight permits. The Land segment distributes diverse energy products, including fuel, heating oil, propane, natural gas, and lubricants. It serves a wide customer base that spans petroleum distributors, retail operators, and industrial, commercial, residential, and government clients. Additionally, this segment provides services like fuel procurement and price risk management, advisory and fulfillment solutions for power and natural gas, consulting, sustainable energy offerings (such as renewable fuels and carbon management), and various card payment and transaction management programs. Lastly, the Marine segment markets fuels, lubricants, and related offerings to international container and tanker fleets, commercial cruise lines, luxury yachts, time charter operators, offshore rig owners, and governmental clients, alongside other fuel suppliers. Its marine fuel services encompass procurement management, cost and quality control, claims handling, direct vessel fueling, and the transportation and delivery of marine fuel products. World Fuel Services Corporation was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Miami, Florida.
