Its service offerings include essential mobile communications like voice calls, text messaging, and internet access. For fixed-line users, Orange provides both high-speed broadband and narrowband internet connections, alongside tailored fixed network business solutions for voice and data, and integrated convergence packages. Beyond services, Orange also retails a range of hardware, such as mobile handsets, portable terminals, broadband access devices, connected gadgets, and accessories. Furthermore, the company extends its portfolio to advanced IT and integration services, encompassing unified communication and collaboration tools (including local area network and telephony systems), consulting, integration, and project management. It also delivers cloud-based hosting and infrastructure solutions, customer relationship management (CRM) and other application services, robust security services, and video conferencing capabilities, complete with the sale of related equipment. Additional specialized services include national and international roaming, digital advertising platforms, support for mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs), network sharing agreements, and mobile financial services. Orange also supplies equipment to external distributors and brokers. All its products and services are marketed under the prominent Orange brand. The company was founded in 1990, originally known as France Telecom, before officially changing its name to Orange S.A. in July 2013.
