The Global X Scientific Beta Europe ETF (SCID) aims to closely track the investment performance, in terms of both price appreciation and income generation, of the Scientific Beta Extended Developed Europe Multi-Beta Multi-Strategy Four-Factor Equal Risk Contribution (ERC) Index, prior to factoring in fees and expenses. To achieve its objective, the fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to the securities that comprise the underlying index. This allocation also encompasses American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) whose value is derived from these index components. The underlying index itself typically includes up to around 600 common stocks listed on European exchanges. The selection of these stocks is governed by an exclusive methodology developed by the index provider.
